Accreditation Providers Forum

The Accreditation Providers’ Forum is a membership group which enables organisations to share learning on accrediting quality in the voluntary and community sector.  CTA’s Quality Mark features in the Accreditation Providers’ Forum directory of the voluntary and community sector organisations which provide these independent quality accreditation schemes.

Alongside the CTA in this directory are:

  • Action with Communities in Rural England [ACRE]
  • Action for Advocacy
  • Befriending Network
  • Charities Evaluation Services
  • Clubs for Young People
  • Community Foundation Network
  • Community Matters
  • Crossroads Care
  • London Youth
  • Mentoring and Befriending Foundation
  • Mind
  • The Helplines Association
  • Volunteering England
  • YMCA England

This is a new and helpful way of understanding quality standards; organisations often find themselves struggling to explain the equivalence of their chosen quality mark to ISO 9001, but Quality in the Voluntary Sector provides a simple, clear and effective guide to commissioners on quality standards for the voluntary and community sector.

Although diverse, the organisations in this directory are all leaders in particular parts of the voluntary and community sector.

Quality in the Voluntary Sector was formulated by members of the Accreditation Providers’ Forum, a group consisting of voluntary and community organisations that have a focus on accrediting quality in the third sector.
