West Yorkshire "Communities on the Move"
In 2008, a Steering Group consisting of Metro and a number of CT operators, commissioned CTA Consultancy to facilitate the "Communities on the Move" action research project. The project was designed to enable the CT sector in West Yorkshire to realise its potential and play an active role in Metro's strategic vision of integrated transport provision for the region. The Steering Group agreed a number of outputs as a result of the implementation of the work programme including:
- The provision of advice and support to CT's developing as social enterprises
- The development of a CT Quality Mark
- A strategy and vision for CT across Leeds City Region
