Influence

The CTA is an association that gives you influence

Whether large or small, our members are helping communities and making a big difference to people's lives every day. What you do, what you say and what you think really matters.

The CTA is there to support and promote your work, to raise issues based on what you think and to give your experience, skill and commitment a strong voice.

The CTA's staff and trustees meet regularly with ministers from key goverment departments. We also meet with national and regional agencies, local authorities and passenger transport executives.

CTA Journal, the regular e-bulletin, our website and our conferences continue to highlight important issues, and to support and represent our members' views and empower the people who use their services.

"You are never alone when you are part of an association such as the CTA. The CTA gives local organisations a national voice and has a power to influence and change that is far beyond that of individual members"
Helen Reed, General Manager, NORDCAT, Dorset.
