Values

CTA membership is based on four key values:

Influence

The CTA is an association that gives you influence

We campaign to make sure the voice of community transport is heard and acted upon in national, regional and local government.  We inform new legislation and policy with clear and robust argument.  We promote practical solutions based on solid experience on the ground.  We represent our members' views and empower people who use their services.

Being Informed

The CTA is an association that gives you the information and advice you need

Through our website, our magazine, CTA Journal, our e-bulletin and our suite of other publications we keep members up-to-date with all the latest news, briefings, opinions and events.  Through our UK-wide service, networking opportunities and e-discussion groups we provide crucial information to help our members deliver the best possible services.

Development

The CTA is an association that can help develop your organisation and your people

We place great importance on promoting personal and organisational development among our members.  Over 67,000 drivers are registered through our Minibus Driver Awareness Scheme (MiDAS), whilst our annual event offers the most comprehensive series of practical training sessions and seminars, backed up by a range of online resources.  Whether you need help with Driver CPC training, writing a business plan or health and safety management - we help develop the people and the organisations that can make a difference.

Advantage

The CTA is an association that gives you a leading edge

As a member of the CTA, you get access to a wide range of benefits and services - from specially discounted vehicle insurance and financial services to major savings on our annual event, as well as free access to GoSkillsPlus.  It's about giving our members a competitive advantage that can also save you time and money.
