Community Transport Volunteer of the Year
Sponsored By:

Volunteering is the commitment of time and energy for the benefit of society and the community, the environment or individuals outside one's immediate family. It is undertaken freely and by choice, without concern for financial gain.
There are thousands of volunteers in community transport and we want to find the best of them. Trustees, drivers, administrators, trainers, it doesn’t matter. If they’re doing a great job and they don’t get paid, we want to know about it.
Please nominate your CT Volunteer of the Year using the attached form. Tell us:
What role they have
The results of their efforts
Benefits to the CT organisation
Benefits to passengers
Benefits to the volunteer
What sets them apart from all the others
Use the form to address these specific issues and to give us any other information to support your nomination. Nominations can be made by the organisation that the volunteer(s) work for or by passengers or other stakeholders in the local community.
Submissions should reach the CTA central office in Hyde by email (awards@ctauk.org), fax (0161 351 7221) or post (Highbank, Halton Street, Hyde, Cheshire, SK14 2NY) by 12:00 noon on Monday 15 February* 2010.
*Note: the original deadline for nominations has been changed from 10 January to 15 February 2010, however, you can still use the original nomination forms!
