CTA English Regional Roadshows 2011/2012
Welcome to the 2011/12 CTA regional networking events for England. Following well attended successful events in recent years, we are continuing to visit different areas of England to meet with members and operators to discuss transport policy, development and your concerns. This year we are adopting a slightly different approach. The morning session at each event will be relatively standard topical agenda focussing on community transport policy issues and involving discussion time with delegates (much as we have done previously). The agenda for the afternoon session at each event, however, will be formulated with a local partner in order to ensure that it focuses on issues of relevance in that area. The Department for Transport and VOSA have been invited to attend all events.
We have confirmed the dates and venues for the first three events below. We will confirm the details for the remaining events over the next month or so (these remaining events will all be in the period Jan to March 2012). We very much hope you will be able to join us as we explore policy issues such as the opening up of public service delivery, consider how we can raise standards in community transport and provide updates on CTA services. Attendance is free and lunch is provided.
