Good to Go: Organising Trips Safely

For community transport providers, re-starting services means thinking about running trips to the shops, days out and other journeys into the community that so many people rely on. In this session, the CTA advice team will be looking at how to adapt your risk management strategy, along with new infection control measures, to help you in organising your trips safely and in a COVID-secure environment.

This is an interactive session where you’ll be able to share your experiences, ideas and questions, so there are limited spaces available which will be allocated on a first come first served basis to CTA members. If you’re a CTA member, you’ll have to log in to book. (If you’re not already logged in, you’ll see a ‘log-in to book’ button at the top of the page.)

Any spare places will be offered to non-members a week prior to the event taking place. If you’re not a CTA member and you’d like to attend, click here.

Date: 20 November | 11:00 – 12:00

Location: Online (Zoom)

A link will be sent to registered participants ahead of the event

Frequently Asked Questions

Below are some frequently asked questions for our online events. If you’ve got any questions that aren’t covered here, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with the CTA team via events@ctauk.org.

Is there a limit to how many people can attend this event?

Yes – our Good to Go events are smaller and more interactive with participants being able to interact on screen and have conversations with the CTA advice team. The numbers for this event are capped at 40 and will be allocated on a first come first served basis to CTA members. Because of this, we’d ask that you don’t book on more than one person from your organisation. When we reach capacity, we’ll open a waiting list and, for anyone who can’t attend, we’ll be publishing a recording and re-cap of the event.

What medium will the event be taking place in and  how will I be able to join?

This is an online event, so you’ll be joining us on Zoom. After you’ve booked your place, we’ll send you a meeting invitation link a few days before the event along with all the details you’ll need to join.

Will I be visible on screen?

Yes – our Good to Go events are designed so that you can discuss the topic with our advice team and the other participants. You’ll be able to see everyone involved, and they’ll be able to see you. We’ll have a member of our advice team facilitating discussion, and we’d ask that when you’re not speaking, your microphone is muted.

Will I be able to access a recording and any relevant presentations after the event?

Yes – we’ll be making a recording and recap of each event available afterwards, including any slides used by presenters or facilitators.
