The CTA is a UK-wide organisation and reflects the different needs and distinctiveness of the English Regions, London, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales in our work.

We have staff based in each country who locally support our members and draw on their collective experience to inform and influence national government policy, legislation and the programmes of major funders.

The CTA also works closely with local authorities, passenger transport authorities, regional transport partnerships and third sector organisations in each country.

The CTA works in partnership with, and is part-funded by, the Department for Transport, the Department for Regional Development in Northern Ireland, the Scottish Government and the Welsh Assembly Government.
