CT Awards Categories 2011
1. Best Community Transport Operator - Sponsored by SWWITCH
Community Transport has provided a wide range of access, mobility and travel solutions to individuals and communities across Wales for many years. We want to hear about the best CT Organisations in the country and how they deliver innovative services to meet the needs of their local communities.
2. Best Marketing Award - Sponsored by Mike Clarke Printers
The CTA Wales Best Marketing Award recognises the achievements of Community Transport Operators in their efforts to market their services. Nominations can range from full scale campaigns and branding exercises, to individual promotions and events. So if your local CT group should be recognised for their marketing flare then we want to hear about it.
3. Outstanding Contribution to Community Transport - Sponsored by Taith
This award is to recognise an individual who has made a substantial impact on one or more organisations, or to Community Transport in Wales as a whole. It is open to anyone who has worked (paid or unpaid) within, or on behalf of, the Community Transport sector.
4. Best Community Transport Volunteer - Sponsored by Sewta
The role of volunteers is crucial to the success of community transport across Wales. Hundreds of people commit time and energy to assist community transport schemes as drivers, committee members, office staff or passenger assistants. Although they may come from very different backgrounds, they all have one thing in common - a desire to support and give something back to their communities. If you feel someone in your area has made an unstinting and outstanding contribution to any aspect of CT, please nominate them.
5. Most Supportive Regional Transport Consortia - Sponsored by TraCC
Do you have a really supportive Regional Transport Consortia assisting you in your day to day work that you feel should be recognised? Do they involve you in the co-design of Regional Transport Plans and Strategies? Do they ensure the needs of your users are reflected in their programme plans and supported activities? Maybe they help you with financial support, or possibly share their knowledge and experience with you to help your organisation prosper? Then let us know.
