LEZ in London
Every day, the Capital’s Community Transport operators provide a vital link to thousands of Londoners.
Community Transport services in London are well established and provide affordable, accessible services to groups and individuals on a local basis. It exists to meet the travel and social needs of people to whom these services would otherwise be denied, granting social inclusion to these vulnerable groups.
Operating across the majority of the London Boroughs, Community Transport may provide the answer to many voluntary and community groups’ fears about losing transport as a result of the implementation of the LEZ from 3rd January 2012.
