CTA Wales would like to thank all of our sponsors for their support at this year’s conference; and also to Q’STRAINT for kindly sponsoring our pre-dinner drinks reception.

On Thursday, more than 90 delegates attended the conference, which was opened by Ieuan Wyn Jones AM, Deputy First Minister and Minister for the Economy and Transport. Delegates also heard from the Traffic Commissioner for Wales and the Midlands and the Older People’s Commissioner for
Wales, as well as sessions on running a Section 22 service, carbon reduction and patient transport services.  CTA UK’s incoming chair, Dr Stephen Hickey, closed the day by launching our first State of the Sector Wales report. Q’straint, Bluebird, Traveline and Brecon Beacons Coachwork also exhibited at the event.
