The CTA in Wales

Cymraeg

The CTA works to support its members in Wales through its offices in Swansea and Rhyl. Our work in Wales is supported by the Welsh Government, via its integrated Transport Unit. It provides core funding to CTA as the "voice of community transport in Wales, to support and develop new and existing community transport operators across the country, and to serve as advocate and promoter of the sector.

Following requests from members, CTA Wales has created an e-petition calling for the continuation and roll-out  of the pilot Community Transport Concessionary Fares Initiative (CTCFI), after the recent Ministerial announcement that it will close on 31 March 2012. This was set up in 2005-06 by the Welsh Government to ensure equality for elderly and disabled people unable to use their bus passes on conventional public transport, and has been running in 15 areas across Wales managed by CTA Wales.  If you live in Wales, and wish to support this petition, please click here. Please note you may only sign the petition once
