Dr Stephen Hickey (Chair)
Stephen has had a varied career in not only transport, but health, welfare and the voluntary sector. He was Director General for the Department for Transport and his roles there included overall management responsibility for major executive agencies including DVLA, DSA and VOSA, policy responsibility for road safety and heading up the department's relations with the logisitics industry.
Yvonne Chappell (nee Layton), (Vice-chair) Essex County Council
Yvonne is Fleet Transport and Operations Manager for Essex County Council. She has experience of working within the community transport environment as both a manager and a funder.
Gordon Lewis (Treasurer)
Gordon is a qualified accountant with 17 years experience of leadership in financial and management accounting and auditing in the property and professional services sectors. He is currently a senior director for a major international real estate company.
Sammy Betson Coastal Accessible Transport Services (CATS)
Sammy is the manager of CATS, which covers a predominantly rural part of East Suffolk and operates eleven accessible vehicles. She has chaired national membership organisations, has established subsidiary trading companies for a number of organisations and is particularly interested in governance, enterprise and training.
Gareth Blackett
Fitzroy Dawson Merton Community Transport
Fitzroy started in the sector in 1984 as a minibus driver/booking officer. In 1993 he moved to Wandsworth Community Transport as Assistant Fleet Manager and in 2000 took over as Director at Merton Community Transport.
Alistair Howie (co-opted trustee)
Alistair is a former chief executive of Walsall NHS Community Trust and Teaching PCT, former chair of Walsall Local Strategic Partnership and a former assistant director of social services at Newcastle City Council.

Peter Maggs CBE West Midlands Special Needs Transport
From the early 1970s Peter was involved in the provision of transport based logistics in various parts of the world. In 1998 Peter held a number of director level appointments in the Ministry of Defence, with responsibilities for change management in policy and delivery programmes. Peter was appointed Chief Executive of WMSNT in March 2008.
